To encourage student applications we created a piece that posed a series of intriguing questions that unfolded to a poster containing information about Pearson.

This admission video grew out of the student mailer. While the latter was sent to schools across Canada, we felt that we could best reach students directly online.

The website needed to appeal to different audiences: current students and educators, potential students and their families, alumni, donors and media.

The site features striking black and white backdrop images against panels of colour and copy. To encourage our audiences to visit often, we built interactive modules, including Pearson Asks, a monthly question, and an Alumni Questionnaire.

The Annual Campaign is the College's top financial priority every year, as it is responsible for raising funds to cover over 40% of the College's annual operating costs. Combo Creative was hired to develop the Annual Fund strategy and to execute the creative: letters, brochure, dedicated website page and homepage pop-up button.

The campaign was a success, with giving increased by roughly 50% compared to the previous year.

 

PEARSON COLLEGE UWC

Pearson College is one of 14 UWC schools around the world. Up to 200 students from diverse socioeconomic, political and cultural backgrounds the world over live, work and serve collectively within a mission to create a more peaceful and sustainable world at the two-year college (Grade 12 and Gap year).

Although Pearson was established in 1974, it had never developed its brand. Combo was hired to develop the brand strategy and marketing plan, and executed the creative that came out of this: website, college brochure, mailer to students, admissions video, refreshed identity and annual report.
